Josephine “Josey” Lormand

June 2020

Ms. Josey Lormand has been with Memorial Woodland Village since this Coronavirus outbreak and has been a sport! She engages in all the hall games, enjoys the crafts during in-room visits and dances in the halls when she likes the music. She rooms next door to her longtime friend, and they visit, from a distance, on a regular basis.

The most exciting thing about Ms. Josey is that she will be 100 years old  this summer, and she can still outrun most everyone in the building! She always has something nice to say and is friendly with everyone.

In her earlier years, Ms. Josey was a bookkeeper. She has two supportive daughters with numerous grandchildren that she socializes with regularly.

Thank you, Ms. Josey, for showing all of us how to stay happy in spite of changes in routine!
