Charles “Charlie” Hodge

Charlie has been with Woodland Village Nursing Center for almost a year and has won hearts with his smile and unexpected humorous comments.  He enjoys the outdoors, spending time with pet his boxer, Sissy, and pet therapy groups.  He enjoys watching “The Andy Griffith Show,” westerns and older sitcoms. He enjoys 50-100-piece jigsaw puzzles and encouraging others to assemble puzzles with him.

Charlie enjoys writing a variety of poetry. He enjoys playing checkers with his best friend, Chari, and occasionally with staff members. He also enjoys a good game of Rummy every now and then. He finds inspiration in newspaper cartoons and draws them too. Charlie likes to “girl watch” around the facility. He is a delight, and we certainly enjoy his smiling face!
