Ms. Ruth Vanhuss

Ms. Vanhuss has been with Memorial Woodland Village for just under a year and has made herself right at home. She has three children, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She enjoyed a traveling ministry with her husband, and Ruth has been active in the Church of Christ her entire life. She spent six years in the Caribbean Islands working as a missionary. Her philosophy has been the same as the Apostle Paul, “I have learned to be happy in whatever circumstances I am in.”

Ms. Vanhuss enjoys crocheting, listening to books on tape, being active in her church and spending time with her family. She also enjoys therapy and exercising daily.
